LaRouche had warned during the pre-election period (year.2000) that the USA would not likely survive as a nation the policy plunders of a Bush or Gore administration based on their qualification for dealing with the world's greatest global financial breakdown crisis that would be unfolding during the third period. The Sep.11 event is seen by Lyndon LaRouche as one of the types of elements unfolding in the "maelstrom" of the unfolding crisis. LaRouche's notion of a successful economy includes four major elements, which may be understood as the physical and human infrastructures, all of which are essential for society to support its existence in the most efficient and rewarding manner possible. The four elements are:
Physical infrastructures (supply, transportation, energy, industrial processing and production)
Scientific infrastructures (basic research and advanced scientific and technological development)
Humanist infrastructures (classical humanist education, the development of the human genius, cultural and spiritual development)
Healthcare infrastructures (clinical and pharmapseudical institutions, biological research, and public protection policies)
In the modern world everyone of these infrastructures is required for an economy to successfully meet the human needs. Presently, everyone of these elements has been decimated, all around the world, for the single minded goal of feeding the parasitical world-financial system that is not even an element of economic processes that are essential for human existence.
LaRouche's economic policies focus on advancing development in all four of the above listed essential elements of an economy.
It has been said that infrastructure development is too expensive. The reality is, that the present financial system that prevents these developments, is too expensive for society to maintain.
